Kitchen Equipment Maintenance and Repair Service


1. SCOPE OF WORK 


The  services required under this scope of work include kitchen equipment maintenance and repair services for various food preparation and dining facilities, including the Cascade Cafe, Terrace Cafe, The Commons, Garden Cafe, and Sculpture Garden Pavilion, at the National Gallery of Art by means of a firm fixed price hybrid requirements / indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with service calls on a time and material / labor hour basis.


2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS


The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supervision and management required to provide all required PM services, including but not limited to; cleaning, testing, visual operational checks, adjustments and repairs necessary to maintain the kitchen equipment, exhaust hood systems, grease traps, sanitary sewer lines, ejector pits, food waste disposals, plumbing fixtures, lighting systems, dishwashers and associated equipment and in addition to various other kitchen equipment, including freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, and display cases, all in accordance with the requirements that will be outlined in the full request for proposal to be issued on or about 15 April 2026.
