The construction of a handicapped accessible entrance at 179 N. McKean Street Kittanning PA 16201
Notice is hereby given, Town & Country Transit located in Kittanning, PA, is soliciting bids for the construction of the Kittanning ADA Ramps project located at 179 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA 16201.
Bidding documents are available at no cost via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
Bid packages will be received for the following contracts:
Contract TACT PA 2025-1.1GC – General Construction
The deadline for bid submissions is 2:00PM (EST) on January 7, 2026. All bids will be submitted electronically (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on December 10, 2025, at 10:00AM (EST). Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and can find the pre-bid conference information on PennBid in the Important Events area. For an invite to the meeting contact Michael Dillon at mdillon@jmt.com No Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals has been established for this project, however Town & Country Transit encourages the use of small businesses in all contracts. State Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this project.
The Bidder’s attention is directed to the fact that all applicable Federal and State laws, municipal ordi-nances and codes, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the Project shall apply to the Contract throughout, and they are deemed to be included in the Con-tract the same as though herein written in full.
Town & Country Transit will not be liable for any costs incurred in the preparation of the bids or for attendance at the pre-bid conference.
All bids and contracts are subject to a financial assistance contract between Town & Country Transit and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Non-Discrimination and Non- Collusion laws and regulations to certify that they are not on the Comptrollers General’s list of ineligi-ble contractors or are federally disbarred.
Town & Country Transit provides equal opportunity in employment, service, and contractual agree-ments.
The bidder agrees that bids will be valid for at least a ninety (90) day period from the date the bids are opened. Town & Country Transit reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all ir-regularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Mes-sages/Vendor Discussions” feature in PennBid no later than 12:00 pm December 19, 2025.
