For MIL-B-16541 any current Bronze specification equivalent or better than MIL-B-16541 Grade A is acceptable. For the Wood (any hardwood provided it’s Maple Varnished is acceptable). There currently is a vendor that has produced these knives for many years without issue DESCO (See attached catalog sheet), part is available through DESCO distributor W.S. Darley (CAGE 15852).
