PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AG-02RC-S-12-0122 Libby Ranger District Kootenai National Forest Idaho / Montana Acquisition Team WARLAND & CANYON CULVERT REPLACEMENTS. Work consists of the removal and replacement of existing culverts at Milepost 6.6 on National Forest System Road #4912, Canyon Creek Road, and Milepost 1.4 on National Forest System Road #4891, Warland Basin Road. The replacement shall be a 66"x 51" arched corrugated metal pipe in accordance with these specifications. The Government may include an optional item: adding ditch relief culverts and additional bank armoring consisting of Class 2 riprap. NOTE: Interested parties are encouraged to visit the worksite; no pre-award site visit is planned. To reach Canyon culvert worksite, travel north out of Libby 19 miles on Highway 37 to the junction with Canyon Creek Road NFSR # 4912. Turn right and drive east 6.6 miles to the project site. To reach Warland culvert worksite, travel north out of Libby 25.5 miles on Highway 37 to the junction with Warland Creek Road, MFSR #566. Turn right on 566 and drive 4.1 miles to the junction with Warland Basin Road, NFST # 4891. Continue on Road #4891 1.4 miles to the project site. Estimated Start Work Date: August 30, 2012.
