Full Description

The Mission Installation Contracting Command- Fort Hood, Fort Hood, Texas 76544-5025, intends to issue a sole-source firm fixed price delivery order against an existing GSA schedule contract to DynaTouch Corporation, 9901 Broadway Street, San Antonio, Texas 78217-4916; annual maintenance services for thirty-one Kiosks Touch Information Presentation Systems (TIPS) under a non-personal services contract. The maintenance services comprised of full-service maintenance & support package (Level 3, Platinum, on-site) with existing hardware. The maintenance core support includes; Software Assurance/maintenance; unlimited toll-free help desk support, Mon-Fri 7am-7pm CST; Updates to local internet/intranet links/buttons (4 per year per base/post); Maintained the TIPS Kiosk management software; Remote monitoring services; Usage statistics processing & reporting; Subscription to one-stop content module; Subscription to DynaTouch customer service center; Component repair or replacement (parts, labor, outbound shipping); On-site Services for component repair and Optional professional services. This requirement is conducted under 41 USC 2304(c) (1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. The NAICS code is 334119- Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1000 employees. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide service as described above. Interested parties shall provide a copy of the Army (NETCOM) Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) for this requirement. Interested parties shall provide rationale as to why they should be considered. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The Mission Installation Contracting Command will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
