This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of The Department of Fisheries and Oceans – Aquaculture Management Division (DFO – AMD) to require a Diagnostic Service Provider (DSP) to process via Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) the tissues collected by AMD – Aquaculture Fish Health (AFH) and to test for specific salmon viral and bacterial pathogens on an as and when requested basis and includes other lab services, such as bacterial identification, histology lab preparation, other fish diagnostics as required. It is the Department’s intention to result in the award one (1) Contract with Task authorizations for three (3) years from date of award to December 31, 2026.
