Full Description

The consultant shall conduct all engineering, planning, and administrative tasks necessary to complete the project. This includes the ﬁnal design plans, speciﬁcations, quantity and cost estimates, and all compliance efforts needed to meet Local, State, and Federal requirements. The Consultant shall become intimately familiar with the requirements of the City of Westlake Village. The consultant should anticipate one (1) project kick off meeting prior to beginning work on the project. Additional management meetings may occur as required over the course of the project. The City Council has various Committees that evaluate and advise the City Council on projects, programs, and services. Each Committee has two members from the City Council and meet monthly in a public meeting. The following is a list of tasks that the consultant is expected, but is not limited, to incorporate at a minimum into the consultant’s proposed scope of services. A consultant may develop and propose additional tasks, based on their expertise and experience, which the consultant believes would be necessary to accomplish the City’s goals for the project. Task 1 - Project Management Task 2 - Public OutreachTask 3 - Preliminary Design Report Task 4 - Final Improvement Plans, Specifications, and Cost EstimatePlease see the Scope of Work outlined in the Lakeview Complete Streets RFP Document for further details on the expected tasks and task deliverables to be incorporated into consultants proposed scope of services. The PS&E package, with all deliverables given in the tasks above (except the record drawings), must be completed submitted to the City for ﬁnal acceptance no later than February 13, 2026. Additionally, please refer to the Scope of Work in the RFP Document for the RFP Schedule established for the selection of the Consultant for this project. The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the City. All fee proposals and schedules shall be submitted as a separate and clearly named file for digital submissions.
