This is an invitation to submit a bid to Lamar County for the 2026 LMIG-TSPLOST Project (Midway Road, Freeman Road, Shadybrook Lane, Ponderosa Lane and South 6th Street Ext.) as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Chairman (in the Lamar County Administration Building at the above address) up to 2:00 p.m., September 29, 2026, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. This project will be funded with 2026 LMIG and TSPLOST funds. Construction includes work at 5 separate locations, as outlined in the Scope of Work, which includes Asphalt Patching and Resurfacing on Midway Road (1.12 mi), Freeman Road (1.58 mi), Ponderosa Lane (0.73 mi), Shadybrook Lane (0.35 mi) and South 6th Street Ext. (0.66 mi) within Lamar County. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, Current Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, Current Edition; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions. Bid Documents may be obtained by downloading them from the Georgia Procurement Registry (GPR) at https://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/PRSapp/. Interested Bidders/Proposers are solely responsible for obtaining the Bid Documents, addenda, and all solicitation updates from the Georgia Procurement Registry. No hard copies of the Bid Documents will be mailed. Submit all questions regarding the Project in writing by email only.
