Lamar County 2026 LRA Project- Camp Road

Lamar County is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 LMIG TSPLOST Project on Camp Road, extending from South 6th Street Ext. to the Spalding County Line/Potato Creek Bridge. The project involves full depth cement stabilized reclamation and asphalt pavement overlay, including associated traffic control, shoulder clipping, sweeping, tack, and striping. All work must adhere to the current Georgia Department of Transportation Standard and Supplemental Specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The project is funded through 2026 LMIG and TSPLOST funds, with a required completion timeframe of 180 consecutive calendar days following the written Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Chairman by 2:30 p.m. on September 29, 2026. Required submission documents include a bid sheet, an anti-collusion oath, and a bid bond for at least five percent of the bid amount. Award decisions will be based on responsiveness and the bidder's qualifications. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds from a surety authorized to do business in Georgia and listed in Department of the Treasury Circular 570. Administrative oversight is managed by Sean Townsend as Contract Administrator and James Rigdon as the Technical Representative. Payment is processed within 30 days of an approved estimate, contingent upon the submission of progress reports and necessary lien waivers or payment affidavits.
