Landscape Maintenance Services

Yolo County Housing is soliciting proposals under RFP No. P26-011 for comprehensive landscape and grounds maintenance services at its properties throughout Yolo County. The scope of work includes regularly scheduled services such as mowing, turf maintenance, fertilization, aeration, bed maintenance, and spring and fall cleanups, with an anticipated annual volume of approximately 240 mowing services across eight properties. The anticipated contract term is three years, with the agency retaining the option for two additional one-year renewal periods based on funding and satisfactory performance. Proposals must be submitted to Procurement Analyst Nesar Rasekh via email or sealed courier by October 19, 2026, at 4:00 P.M., with all inquiries due by October 12, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest actual or calculated cost. Bidders must be licensed by the State of California and maintain general liability and worker's compensation insurance. As a HUD-assisted procurement, the contract incorporates strict federal compliance requirements, including HUD-5369-B and HUD-5369-C certifications, non-discrimination clauses under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and adherence to the Energy Policy and Conservation Act. While Section 3 programs are not required for professional services during the proposal phase, offerors must certify their small, minority, or women-owned business status and warrant the absence of organizational conflicts of interest. Performance will be monitored through scheduled and unscheduled inspections by Yolo County Housing to ensure properties remain in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
