Landscaping Maintenance Service

The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is soliciting gardening services for its managed properties at the FCMR, DCMR, and TCMR under a firm-fixed-price contract issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation under FAR 12.6. The work involves comprehensive landscaping maintenance, including pruning hedges and shrubs, removing all debris such as leaves, grass clippings, bark, limbs, and trash at the end of each workday, fertilizing and liming soil according to horticultural standards, applying weed killer once yearly, and providing irrigation equipment. The contract has a base period of 12 months with three one-year options, for a maximum total duration of 42 months, and performance must begin no earlier than ten days after award. All work is to be performed onsite at the designated embassy locations in Tegucigalpa, and the contractor must supply all labor, materials, and equipment required to meet the performance standards, which are measured by the appearance of the landscape and a maximum of two customer complaints per month, with no repeat complaints permitted.
