LANI - Office of Major Events (OME) Infrastructure Repair Project - 2028 Games

The Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative is soliciting bids for the Office of Major Events Infrastructure Repair Project in preparation for the 2028 Games. This first phase of a multi-phase project focuses on improving universal access to event venues and watch party sites through sidewalk repairs, curb ramp installations, and ADA path of travel improvements. All work must be performed using low carbon concrete and adhere to the 2021 Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction and City of Los Angeles Standard Plan S-442-6 CASE I. The project has an estimated value between 1 million and 1.25 million dollars and must be completed within 270 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who meets strict qualification criteria, including a valid California Class A or B license, a minimum of five years of experience in public works street improvement, and an average annual gross revenue of at least 5 million dollars over the last three years. Bidders must submit a sealed proposal, including a signed bid form and schedule of values, by 1:00 PM on October 9, 2026. Selected contractors are required to provide performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price within 10 days of the award. Administrative requirements include weekly certified payroll submissions via the Online Certified Payroll System and monthly invoicing with a 5 percent retention fee.
