Description of goods to services to be bid: The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) seeks to engage qualified contractors and consulting firms with diverse technical, energy, economic, and environmental analytical capacity to support the Large-Scale Renewables (LSR) program. Through this solicitation, NYSERDA endeavors to establish a pool of qualified Contractors that may be called upon to perform services as described in this RFP. This approach will enable the LSR team and the awarded contractors to efficiently and rapidly initiate both recurring and ad hoc projects in support of program goals on an ongoing basis. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at: www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: NYSERDA expects to retain one or more qualified contractors to provide services in each of the specified Support Areas (Technology, Industry, Costs, and Regulatory; Procurement, Financial Analysis, Macroeconomic Analysis, and Modeling; Transmission, Interconnection, and Electric System; Energy Deliverability and Congestion Risk; Supply Chain and Workforce). Proposers receiving a subsequent award under this solicitation will be allocated an initial not-to-exceed budget over a term of 5 years with the potential to renew for a second 5-year term. As tasks are assigned new Task Work Orders will be established and the initial budget will be drawn upon until expended. The total budget may or may not be expended based upon the work assigned. Funds may be added to the contract, at NYSERDA’s sole discretion, to allow for continued engagement under this service-on-demand model. Funds can only be expended for work assigned by NYSERDA (as described in the RFP) Only invoices for assigned tasks will be approved.
