Las Flores Pavement Rehabilitation and Antonio Parkway Gateway Improvements Project

The Las Flores Pavement Rehabilitation and Antonio Parkway Gateway Improvements Project, identified as Public Project Number PP-26-0033, involves extensive roadway and infrastructure improvements within the Las Flores Community Area and along Oso Parkway and Antonio Parkway in the Unincorporated Area of Orange County, California. The scope of work encompasses pavement rehabilitation, including cold milling, asphalt concrete and remedial repairs, asphalt overlay, and the installation of pavement reinforcement fabric. Additional construction elements include 1,310 lineal feet of median curb construction, stamped concrete work, mulch installation, and the reconstruction of driveways, culverts, and catch basin decks. The project also requires traffic striping, pavement markings, the re-establishment of loop detectors, sidewalk replacement, and curb ramp reconstruction. All work must be performed in accordance with the Special Provisions for Job Order Contracts for Pavement Maintenance for fiscal year 2025-2026. The project requires the implementation of standard Best Management Practices and traffic control measures during construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in the Summer of 2026 and take approximately nine months to complete, with an estimated requirement of 4,600 truck trips. The project is managed by OC Public Works, with Virginia Gomez serving as the Senior Planner and primary point of contact. A CEQA Notice of Exemption was filed on July 21, 2026, based on the maintenance and repair of existing public facilities.
