IAW FAR 5.201 and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416), the following notice is provided: SPECIAL NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE The United States Department of the Treasury, Treasury Library requires a continuation of access for its users to LatinSource Economic and Political E-mail services. The email services provide ongoing analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic and political issues with observations about developments that impact financial markets and the investment climate of emerging markets worldwide. The Treasury Library provides convenient access to mission critical information required by Departmental Offices (Treasury headquarters) and Treasury bureaus. The Treasury Library also provides information about the Department of the Treasury requested by the public. No solicitation package will be issued. This special notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 10:00 AM, EDT on 29 June 2017. Responses shall be submitted to Ms. Pamela Robinson. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company; 2. Company DUNS No and CAGE Code; 3. Point of Contact, and secondary contact, information; 4. A description of online subscription and its overall capability. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your company's service is capable of meeting the government's need as stated above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
