The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision to provide LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING SERVICES at USCG Base support Unit, Kodiak Alaska for the period 01 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 with one option possible. The services include, but are not limited to: Pickup and delivery at various points at BSU Kodiak, AK and processed within two days in accordance with the statement of work. Service requires laundry of towels, sheets, blankets, surgical scrubs, pillowcases, hospital gown and medical wrappers as well as dry cleaning drapes, clothing and various other items. Contract dollar amount is estimated to be under $50,000.00 per year. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest price per pound and documented experience and qualifications. The proposed contract is a small business set aside. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. Material, workmanship and procedures shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specification. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Manufacturer catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations.
