S--LAUNDRY SERVICE

The Alaska Fire Service, under the Department of the Interior, is soliciting laundry services at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, via Request for Quotation 140L0226Q0003. The contract is established as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a period of performance from April 1, 2026, to April 1, 2031. The selected contractor will be responsible for the pickup, cleaning, sanitizing, folding, and delivery of fire equipment and gear, including specialty Nomex garments, sleeping bags, tents, and packs. All laundering must strictly adhere to National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) standards and manufacturer guidelines to ensure the safety and longevity of protective gear. Key operational requirements include a seven-workday turnaround for cleaned items and the submission of a comprehensive Quality Control Plan prior to the start of the contract.
