The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to conduct professional learning dissability assessments for offenders identified as having significant potential for learning difficulties, further supporting appropriate interventions and reintegration of the offenders. Objectives: to provide learning difficulties assessments for identified offenders to better support a successful learning intervention. Deliverables: The contractor (Psychologist) must formulate assessment summaries of the psycho-educational assessments inclusive of recommendations for learning strategies. Assessment summaries must be clear, concise, typed and written in layperson’s terms using Microsoft Word software. The contractor must give or forward all assessment materials to the Teacher lead at the assessment site in a secure package. The contractor must send the digital summary to the Teacher, Chief of Education, and Project Authority. The document must be a password protected digital document. The contractor must return the original hard copy assessments (including test data and raw scores) to the Institutional Delegate where the assessment is completed. After the assessments, the contractor must meet in-person/virtually/by telephone with the student to explain the results of the assessment.
