The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB intends to issue a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Crash Rescue Equipment Service, Inc. P.O. Box 211506, Dallas, TX 75211-4308 to provide a lease of an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) Vehicle. Oshkosh T-2500 or Equivalent, (6x6, 500 gallon foam tank, 500/1000 lb dry chemical tank, 2500 gallon minimum holding tank) using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research was conducted using various methods to include: Posting of Request for Information on FedBizOpps, internet searches and telephone inquiries. No other vendor responded or expressed interest in participating in the requirement. The Government intends to award a one-year lease agreement to vendor specified above. The North American Industry Classification System is 532120 and the size standard is $23.5 Million. "This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation.
