NA X - FOR INFORMATION ONLY - A synopsis is being issued under the mandatory statute, 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) for the negotiation of a lease of approximately 112,800 rentable square feet for the United States Army South (USARSO). However, the US Army Corps of Engineers has received a directive from the Secretary of the Army for the relocation of USARSO to Building 1000, Brooke Army Medical Center on Fort Sam Houston, the only property that is suitable, which is leased by the Fort Sam Houston Redevelopment Partn ers, Ltd. There are no other privatization firms on Fort Sam Houston. We are not entertaining competition for the lease; therefore, no solicitation package will be issued and brokerage services are not required for this procurement.
