NA X - FOR INFORMATION ONLY - A synopsis is being issued under the mandatory statute, 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) for the lease negotiation of approximately 50,760 rentable square feet for the United States Army Installation Management Agency, Southwest Region Offic e (SWRO). However the US Army Corps of Engineers has received a directive from the Secretary of the Army for the location of the newly established SWRO to Building 1000, Brooke Army Medical Center on Fort Sam Houston the only property that is suitable, wh ich is leased by the Fort Sam Houston Redevelopment Partners, Ltd. There are no other privatization firms on Fort Sam Houston. We are not entertaining competition for the lease; therefore, no solicitation package will be issued and brokerage service is not required for this procurement. Questions should be submitted to the US Army Corps of Engineers, ATTN: CESWF-RE-TR +1 (555) 000-0000 (Mr. Randy Roberts), P.O. Box 17300, Fort Worth, TX 76102-0300 on or before January 16, 2003.
