The City of Redding is soliciting proposals for the off-site shop inspection and overhaul of two Sulzer boiler feedwater pumps, two WEG motors, and two Fisher recirculation valves and their actuators. The scope of work includes the disassemble, clean, inspect, and overhaul (DCI) process, with the contractor managing all shipping, packaging, and handling of equipment to and from their facility. The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center-Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) has a requirement to procure repair services for their LECO Pegasus BT 4D GC/ TOF-MS, Gas Chromatography instrument. The necessary repairs for this piece of scientific research equipment include installation of a new detector unit for the instrument, and a system check for performance and accuracy. ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to LECO Corporation in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). CERL currently owns a Gas Chromatography instrument that was manufactured by and purchased from LECO Corporation. Over time, the performance of the unit's detector has degraded sufficiently enough that it is no longer operational, and therefore repair services are required. LECO Corporation is the only source for fulfilling the government's requirement as they are the only vendor that supplies a compatible detector instrument, and they are the only vendor who can disassemble and install the detector safely and reliably while not voiding the warranty. Further, they are the only vendor capable of running performance standards, adjusting voltages, and certifying the instrument performance. Because of these reasons LECO Corporation is the sole source for this procurement. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. This is not a small business set aside. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed. All submissions will be considered, however there is no guarantee that submissions in response to this notice will in any way alter the Government's acquisition strategy. Please provide responses to this notice, no later than the date and time listed at the top of this posting, to: contact@example.gov Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses to this notice will not be considered as a response to any solicitation, a request to be added to a prospective offerors list, or to receive a copy of any solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) Annual Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)
Solicitation # W9132T26SC001
The Engineer Research and Development Center Construction Engineering Research Laboratory is issuing Commercial Solutions Opening W9132T26SC001 to acquire innovative commercial products, services, and technologies. This effort focuses on closing capability gaps and advancing technological capabilities across several broad areas of interest, including materials and structures, installation energy, warfighter engineering, operational energy, training lands and heritage, and sustainment management systems. The solicitation is open on a continuous basis through October 30, 2026, and targets solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and operational effectiveness in military and civilian environments. The acquisition follows a two-step process where the government first solicits solution briefs and subsequently issues a Request for Proposal if a solution is selected and funding is available. All resultant contracts will be firm-fixed price and are treated as commercial items under FAR part 12, with potential awards also falling under FAR parts 13, 15, or 35, or through prototype agreements. Evaluation is based on technical innovation, importance to agency programs, and the availability of funds. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. Submissions must be made exclusively through the ERDCWERX platform and include a cover letter, a technical volume consisting of a solution brief and pitch deck, and a price volume. An optional five-minute video demonstration may also be provided. For solutions valued over 900,000 dollars, non-small business entities are required to submit a subcontracting plan.
