The County intends to partner with a managed information technology services providers to manage and support the County’s information technology networked infrastructure. This will include 24x7x365 remote system monitoring and maintenance of Leduc County’s server and network infrastructure across ten (10) locations, proactive network management, system security monitoring, and support. The successful proponent will operate as a support extension to Leduc County’s existing information technology staff providing advanced skills supporting servers and storage, network and security, applications and databases, and technology projects, as required. Scheduled patch management of the County’s 33 Windows servers and roughly 250 Windows desktops and laptops is expected. Regular help desk (Tier 1 service desk) function will be retained by County staff and is not included in this competition beyond occasional ad-hoc coverage due to staff shortages.
