AI Contract Overview
This contract covers the procurement of two units of a lever adjustment part, identified by NSN 2915-01-509-1148 and part number 575970, to be delivered to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution at the New Cumberland Facility in Pennsylvania. The order specifies packaging requirements in accordance with ASTM D3951 but emphasizes that the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including MIL-STD-129 marking and palletization standards, take precedence. The contract stipulates no item unique identification requirement as per DFARS 252.211-7003, and mandates sampling and inspection protocols based on MIL-STD-1916 or comparable standards. Delivery is to be FOB origin with acceptance and inspection at destination within 171 days, with an original required delivery date of August 23, 2027. The contract incorporates several technical and quality assurance provisions, such as configuration change management through engineering change proposals, packaging requirements tailored for procurement, and the removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies. These requirements ensure rigorous quality control and compliance with DoD standards. The solicitation is issued by the ASC Supplier OEM Division under NAICS code 336412, with a primary point of contact assigned. All documentation and supplier approvals must adhere to detailed DLA processes, and the procurement procedure aligns with Defense Logistics Agency policies for simplified acquisitions.
