THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order under FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States (U.S.) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), 500 12th Street, Washington, DC 20536 requires LIFESAVER Systems Jerrycan 20000 (Model # LSJC 20000) and related accessories (carbon insert (Model # LSJC CF) and replacement filter (Model # LSJC 20000) to be placed in ICE trailers. ICE intends to make an award to HTI Special Operations Equipment, LLC located at 512 Central Drive STE 200, Virginia Beach, VA, 23454. HTI Special Operations Equipment, LLC is the only distributor in the U.S that can provide the LIFESAVER products and is an exclusive supplier of LIFESAVER products. No other company manufactures the LIFESAVER Systems Jerrycan 20000 and can provide the accessories for the Jerrycan. Any interested vendors that believe they can satisfy this requirement to provide the LIFESAVER Systems Jerrycan 20000 and related accessories (carbon insert and replacement filter) may submit their capabilities, qualifications, and product literature fully supporting that their product meets all the specifications contained herein by email to Deborah Freeman at Deborah.Freeman1@dhs.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. on August 6, 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
