Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-0223, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division, is for the procurement of 77 indicator lights (NSN 6210-01-226-2047). This is designated as a critical application item with acceptable part numbers from DRS Naval Power Systems Inc and Air Marine Systems, Inc. Surplus offers are permitted if they originate from the lower half of light station PN 86-2469-4 removed from NHA light station PN 6981ED166-1, provided DCMA verifies the items are free of removal damage. Delivery is required by November 10, 2026, with a need ship date of November 15, 2026, shipping FOB Origin to the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and safety standards, including a prohibition on the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds in hardware and packaging. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, with sampling conducted per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and RP001, and marking must follow MIL-STD-129 with a fragile handling code. Administrative requirements include the use of the DIBBS system for quotes and the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing. Key regulatory compliance includes DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information and various FAR clauses regarding trafficking in persons and sustainable products.
