AI Contract Overview
The contract awards a sole source task order valued at $1,064,293 to RAFT LLC for Data Informed Disaster Decision Making Services (DIDDMS). This award is issued under a Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) in accordance with GSAM/R 538.7104-3(b)(iii), allowing a non-competitive procurement because the new work logically follows a previously competed Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) task order. The decision to proceed with a sole source award is justified by considerations of economy and efficiency, as the current work builds directly upon services already procured competitively under an earlier order. The contract was posted by the Department of Health and Human Services through the Omas Strategic Buying Center in Rockville, Maryland. Though no specific NAICS code or set-aside details were provided, the award reflects a continuation of efforts to support disaster decision-making capabilities utilizing data-driven methods. The nature of the work aligns with ongoing departmental needs, reinforcing the rationale for issuing this task order directly to RAFT LLC without additional competition.
