Solicitation # FA890327QX002
The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio is conducting market research via a Sources Sought synopsis to identify qualified providers under NAICS 112990 for the procurement of fully trained Military Working Dogs (MWD) and Government Working Dogs (GWD). The requirement focuses on dogs trained for patrol, explosive detection, and drug detection to support the Department of Defense and the Transportation Security Administration. The intended contract structure is a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five-year period of performance, where individual dogs are acquired through BPA calls. To be selected for purchase, candidates must pass a rigorous four-phase evaluation process consisting of general requirements, medical screenings, behavioral evaluations, and performance testing. Medical screenings include physical exams and radiographs of the hips, elbows, and lumbar spine, while performance evaluations vary by classification, such as DoW I, DoW II, or TSA Detector Dogs. Evaluations may take place at approved contractor sites or government-controlled locations. The government reserves the right to down-classify dogs that fail higher-level evaluations or direct humane euthanasia in cases of severe safety hazards or intractable suffering. Interested sources must submit their company information, SAM Unique ID, Cage Code, and business size, along with specific lead times for presenting twenty trained dog candidates, by November 2, 2026. This current notice is for information gathering only and does not constitute a formal solicitation; a separate solicitation announcement will be published on SAM.gov at a later date.

Arizona Citrus Research Council - FY27
Solicitation # w0c01rohb4e9
The Arizona Citrus Research Council (ACRC) has established a grant program for Fiscal Year 2027 to support Arizona citrus producers by funding research that identifies solutions to production issues. The program focuses on five primary areas: pest eradication, citrus production and post-harvest techniques, varietal development, technology enhancements, and the development of genetically designed trees resistant to HLB/ACP. Approximately 20,000 dollars is available for this cycle. Applications must be submitted online by November 28, 2026, and must include a signed cover sheet and an itemized budget consisting only of direct costs, as indirect and overhead expenses are prohibited. Awards are expected to be issued in December 2026, with the ACRC potentially scheduling voluntary applicant presentations on December 8, 2026. Evaluation is based on prior performance, the project's ability to solve current and future industry issues, alignment with industry surveys, budget and timeline appropriateness, and applicant qualifications. Awardees are required to submit annual reports by July 31st and a final report within 90 days of project completion to avoid forfeiture of final payment. Additionally, all research findings must be made available to producers through the ACRC, and awardees must retain all project records for five years for potential audit by State of Arizona personnel. Individual applicants must provide proof of lawful presence in the United States, and employer applicants must demonstrate participation in the e-verify program.
