The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, acting for the Department of Defense, issued solicitation N00178-14-R-3028 to procure fifty-six Comark, LLC/NAG, LLC Dual Video-Input Automated Status Boards along with AC Power Connector Kits and Fiber Connector Kits. This procurement was conducted on a sole source basis from NAG, LLC, as the equipment must be certified and approved for the Ships Self Defense System MKII. Utilizing an alternative replacement was deemed disadvantageous due to potential replacement expenses and risks to ship delivery schedules. The contract was anticipated as a firm fixed price award under NAICS code 334310. The solicitation, issued in April 2014, required a delivery timeline of 16 weeks after receipt of order and included a price schedule consisting of six contract line item numbers. Eligible firms were required to be registered in the System for Award Management, with the final solicitation closing date set for June 13, 2014, and an anticipated award date on or before August 31, 2014.

Solicitation number N00178-14-R-3028 is anticipated to be issued no later than 21 April 2014. The Government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis.
