This requirement is for welding and painting services for the Lobster Cove Head Light Tower. The Lobster Cove Head Light Tower is a cylindrical cast iron tower located in Rocky Harbour, NL. The tower has developed some cracks in the cast iron base. The scope of this project is to weld these cracks and repaint the lower portion of the tower. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Welding of cracks in the cast iron. Contractor will be required to submit their plan for pre-heat, welding and post-heat for approval beforehand. 2. Prepare and coat the lower section of the tower in new paint. This will consist of the interior and exterior. Hoarding and heat may be required if temperature is not within range of manufactures specification. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 8, 2024.
