Pursuant to (FAR) 13.501(a). The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Science Board (NSB) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Event Emissary for the logistical management services in support of the NSB 2019 Annual Ceremony and Dinner. The National Science Foundation/National Science Board (NSF/NSB) Annual Awards Ceremony and Dinner is a formal black-tie event that is attended by approximately 175-200 invited guests (to include renowned scientists and educators, congressional members, senior government and National Science Foundation officials, Board members, and university presidents). The 2019 Awards Ceremony and Dinner will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. The evening consists of a reception, sit-down dinner, and awards ceremony and is approximately 3.5 hours long. In addition to this order, the funding will cover specific tasks to include equipment rental, staging of podium, backdrop and performance platforms, lighting, audio/visual support, guest parking, d'cor, and other basic event considerations.
