The existing Structure 401 (Railway Wharf) is a timber pile-work pier located on the waterfront of the historic Town of Lunenburg. The deteriorated condition of the structure noted in recent inspections has led to partial barricades and load restrictions. The wharf has been deemed unsuitable and will be replaced through work of this project.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) seeks to retain a Consultant to provide services for the design, construction, and tender support of a new wharf to replace the existing Lunenburg Structure 401 (Railway Wharf) located in Lunenburg, NS.
List of the pre-qualified firms invited that qualified under the Heavy Civil Supply Arrangement (EB129-192368) in no particular order via e-mail are as follows:
1. Eastpoint Engineering Ltd. 2. Pinto Engineering Ltd. 3. Eastern Designers 4. Harbourside Engineering Consultants
This RFP allows and encourages Proponents to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their proposal electronically.Proponents must refer to GI16, Submission of proposal, and SRE 2, Proposal Requirements, for further information.
Due to the nature of the bid solicitation, transmission of proposals by facsimile is not recommended for administrative reasons but offered to Proponents to provide an alternative opportunity in case of incompatibility or inability to transmit by epost Connect service.
