This action was not awarded competitevly due not only the urgency of the need and Sole source justification given by WVA Connor Laliberte. Using the Autority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Laliberte had evaluated the marketplace for a company that can manufacture the anode in a quick timeframe, while adhering to our concerns on quality of tooling. Plating International was deemed a suitor, and has the ability of expediting the requested order to meet the demands of the Watervliet Arsenal which includes granting WVA the ability to exercise a 1 year option.
