Machine Gun Accelerator (Oil Buffer) Manufacturing

This subcontract involves the precision manufacturing of 256 steel oil buffers, specifically machine gun accelerators, for the Department of Defense via DLA Weapons Support Land Supplier Opns Vehicle Spt. The contractor is required to machine steel components in strict accordance with TDP PD AM5508141 Rev H and must provide a First Article Testing report based on five initial units. Performance will take place in Albany, Georgia, utilizing high-precision CNC equipment. To be eligible, the manufacturer must maintain compliance with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 quality standards. Additionally, the contractor must hold a US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and maintain active DDTC registration. The final deliverables consist of the completed steel accelerators and the associated FAT report.
