Magnetic Particle NDT Benches

The Department of the Army, through the Army Contracting Command-Anniston Army Depot, is seeking innovative commercial solutions to replace legacy Magnetic Particle Testing systems at the Anniston Army Depot in Alabama. This procurement, conducted under a Commercial Solutions Opening for Organic Industrial Base Modernization, requires the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and functional demonstration of approximately six multi-directional wet benches, two large unidirectional wet benches, and one mobile power pack. The systems must be engineered for a high-volume industrial environment, incorporating built-in safety features, ergonomic controls, UV-A LED lamps, and calibrated gauss/tesla meters. The selected contractor will also be responsible for providing comprehensive operator and maintenance training for depot personnel. The acquisition follows a multi-phase submission process, starting with a solution brief due by October 9, 2026. Awards will be made on a best-value basis, evaluating the optimal combination of cost, quality, technical capability, and delivery schedule. Eligible contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment, and possess a Unique Entity ID. The resulting contracts will be fixed-price, with an anticipated period of performance generally not exceeding twelve months. All submissions must remain unclassified and adhere to specific formatting guidelines, including a five-page limit for solution briefs and the provision of a Rough Order of Magnitude price.
