Sealed Bids for the Mahanoy City – Kaier’s Park Phase III Development Project will be received by the Mahanoy City Borough online via the PennBid Program until Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. (prevailing time) and will be publicly announced on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 6:30 P.M. during the Workshop meeting of Mahanoy City Borough. Bid results will be available online at http://PennBid.bonfirehub.com following the meeting. The project includes construction of playground equipment and park lighting at Kaier’s Park. Improvements include a 5-12-year-old swing set, safety surfacing, electrical distribution, site lighting, and other site amenities as needed. The items of work are identified more specifically in the Project Specifications. All Bidding Documents are available at no cost at http://PennBid.bonfirehub.com. Contract will be awarded to the lowest respective bidder. The Contractor will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act in providing equal employment opportunities in connection with all work. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11.
