Full Description
The York Adams Tax Bureau will receive sealed bids for the Mailroom Infill Project located at 1405 North Duke Street, York, PA 17404 until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, August 28, 2026, online via the PennBid System (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) at which time they will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. It should be noted that bid results are subject to further review and should not be construed as issuance of an award.
All Bid Documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Please note that the awarded bidder is responsible for a fee to PennBid.
A Bid may be withdrawn or modified at any time within PennBid prior to the due date and time identified in the Advertisement for Bids.
Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 1 p.m. at 1405 North Duke Street, York, PA 17404. Pre-Bid attendance is not mandatory.
Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Ask A Question” feature in PennBid no later than Friday, July 24, 2026. Do not call or email the Architect or Owner. Substitution requests will only be accepted during the bidding period, subject to the requirements outlined in the contract documents. Optional material substitution requests will not be considered after the date and time stated below or during the construction phase. Questions and substitution requests will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2026.
York Adams Tax Bureau reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the proposal without the consent of the York Adams Tax Bureau.
Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount must accompany each bid in the form of a Bid Bond by acceptable surety or certified check made payable to York Adams Tax Bureau.
This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442 of 1986 and Act 151 of 1995.
Project Award Date shall be September 17, 2026. Project Duration shall be no more than 4 months after the receipt of a Notice to Proceed.
