This amendment extends the due date for submission of offers and provides information regarding a site visit. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
Original Due Date: May 13th, 2026, 05:00 p.m. [local time]
New Due Date: May 21st, 2026, 05:00 p.m. [local time]
Offerors are advised to submit their proposals by the new deadline. Late submissions will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.215-1, Instructions to Offerors—Competitive Acquisition.
Site Visit
A site visit will be held on May 14th, 2026, 10:30 a.m. [local time]. Please provide the following information to grant you access to the visit:

The U.S. Embassy in Panamá has a requirement to purchase MAIN KITCHEN EQUIPMENT. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Warranty: One (1) year warranty on parts and labor, no less than three (3) years warranty on compressor. Offerors must have a dealer repair/maintenance network for warranty and parts in the Republic of Panama. If the offeror is not in the Republic of Panama, the offeror must present proof of a joint venture or liability delegation letter from a representative in the country.
Specifications/ datasheet: Offerors must present catalog and specifications of the equipment offered, including accessories.
New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. Items never used and not altered in any way.
Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror.
