Maintenance Agreement - Agilent Triple Quad Systems

This contract solicits quotations for a comprehensive maintenance and repair agreement covering three Agilent GCMS Triple Quad systems located at the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service Western Laboratory in Albany, California. The requirement is for preventative maintenance, corrective service calls, and related support services necessary to ensure continuous operation of regulatory testing equipment used to detect chemical contaminants in meat, poultry, egg products, and Siluriformes. The contractor must provide all labor, travel, and materials, including Original Equipment Manufacturer replacement parts, with all work performed by manufacturer-certified personnel whose training and certification documentation must be current and submitted to the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative. Preventative maintenance is required once annually per instrument, including consumables and one performance verification/operational qualification, with all services limited to business hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The contractor must guarantee a 48-hour onsite response time for service issues and establish an efficient escalation path. Access to the facility requires 24-hour advance notification of personnel and arrival times. The contract is structured as a firm-fixed-price, five-year agreement with a base year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, and four option years extending through June 30, 2031, with each option year subject to government funding and exercise.
