The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone is conducting market research to identify local businesses capable of burning and disposing of up to 72 tons of classified and unclassified paper documents. The work will be performed at Buildings 3300, 3301, and 3303 at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, over a 12-month period with services distributed on a monthly basis. The government has outlined two execution methods based on security clearances. The preferred method involves a cleared contractor collecting and transporting documents to their own facility for disposal without government supervision. Alternatively, a non-cleared contractor may provide a burn facility where government personnel transport the materials and witness the disposal process. Interested parties must submit a brief capability statement package including organizational details and evidence of staff capability to be considered for the potential requirement.
