Full Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FMC Butner), intends to award a sole source purchase order to Fujifilm Medical Systems, Stamford, CT. To provide maintenance and service for the software to maintain a Emerald Synapse Picture Archiving System and its associated hardware and for Emergency services as needed to provide servicing. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - only responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 811219. To the best of our knowledge, Fujifilm Medical Center is the only provider of this service. This is a firm-fixed price purchase order for the performance the contract shall cover a October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by Wednesday, September 16, 2020. 1 p.m. EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Fuji-Film.
