The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Diagnostica Stago, Inc., 5 Century Drive, Parsippany, NJ 07054, for the following line items: 1) Model #STAR-E, Serial #5071829; and 2) Model #STAR, Serial #1014000. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR A COMMERCIAL ITEM PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE SOLICITATION; A SEPERATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency.
