Full Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a sole source (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION, 14000 Technology Dr, EDEN Prairie MN 55344-2247. The contractor shall provided preventative maintenance, upgrades and designs for the Army Aberdeen Test Centers Bridge Crossing Simulator. MTS is the original equipment manufacturers and is the only company capable of providing these services. Designs, upgrades, and maintenance services are proprietary to MTS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirment is 334519 and the size standard is 500 Employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 Noon, Eastern Standard Time, September 22, 2008.
