Mallard Creek Water Reclamation Facility - Phase 1

Charlotte Water is seeking a qualified structural engineering firm to provide analysis and investigative services for structures and buildings associated with the Mallard Creek Water Reclamation Facility – Phase 1 Project in North Carolina. The solicitation, identified as FY27-RFQ-01, was issued on May 26, 2026, with responses due by June 11, 2026, and is conducted under a qualifications-based selection process as mandated by North Carolina General Statute 143-64.31, meaning award will be made without regard to cost. The firm must hold an active license through the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors, and proposals must be submitted electronically via the Bonfire portal, limited to twenty pages with a minimum font size of 11 points. The scope includes documentation review, field sampling and inspections, laboratory testing, evaluation of design plans, assessment of existing structural conditions, and development of remediation recommendations.
