Management of Electrical Switchgear Equipment, Maintenance and Repair Services

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has issued an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for the management, maintenance, and repair of electrical switchgear equipment at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL). Evaluation criteria are weighted by relevant experience and qualifications (30%), price (30%), methodology and staffing (20%), overall approach and reporting (15%), and other requirements (5%). Contractors must provide a Safety, Training and Quality Assurance Plan and ensure all test instruments are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Additionally, the contract emphasizes a Small Business Program with a 2% combined goal for Local Developing Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation. Invoicing is required by the tenth day of each month, and the contractor must provide a letter of bondability or a bank letter of credit to demonstrate financial security.
