Manual Vegetation Management & Riparian Treatment

This subcontract for Manual Vegetation Management and Riparian Treatment involves performing manual vegetation removal for prime contractors on CAL FIRE riparian resilience projects located in Inyo County. The scope of work includes the removal of non-native and invasive species, dead or hazardous native trees, and healthy native trees with a diameter at breast height under 12 inches. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for limbing retained trees up to 6 feet using hand tools and chainsaws within dry channels and uplands to deliver cleared riparian and upland areas. All activities must comply with the 2025 CAL FIRE San Bernardino-Inyo-Mono Unit Fire Plan. The project is managed by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection under NAICS code 561730.
