Full Description
The project includes the following work: Installation of new ADA ramps in locations where they are missing which includes all related concrete work, detectable warning pads, and curb/gutter and Installation of new ADA ramps to replace the existing non-compliant ADA ramp. In addition to the new ramps being installed, all old concrete from the existing ramp or waterway needs to be hauled off and disposed of properly.
Work is to be completed by November 24, 2026.
Bids are to be submitted via hard copy at the Mapleton City Offices (125 West 400 North) until Thursday September 24 @ 3:00 PM.
Questions are to be submitted through U3P's Question and Answer portal. Questions are able to be submitted up until Thursday September 17th, a week prior to the bid submission deadline, to give Mapleton City the chance to reply and bidders to adjust their bids, if necessary.
There is NO Mandatory pre-bid meeting but we strongly recommend performing your own site visit to each of the proposed ADA ramp locations.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Please Note! That this a federally funded project and as such the winning bidder is required to comply with Davis-Bacon wages and requirements. There is a place to put the bidder's UEI number as well as any potential subcontractor's UEI number in the bid documents. This is mandatory and will result in a withdrawal of the bid if this number is not included with the bid.
