This contract is for the operation of a newly renovated "Market 16" cafeteria located in Building 16 that will offer the highest level of healthier and fresh options as it will introduce a sustainable food market, where the majority of food is procured from locally, regionally, including Georgia grown or raised foods, prepared on-site, demonstrating a farm to table concept for staff and visitors of CDC. Potential offerors should review the attached PWS to determine their ability to perform the work. This will be a zero-cost contract. No appropriated funds are available. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around June 30, 2016. The Randolph Sheppard Act (RSA) applies to this solicitation. The RSA provides a priority for blind vendors recognized and represented by State Licensing Agencies (SLAs) in the award of contracts for the operation of cafeterias on Federal property. In the event the SLA offer is found to be within the competitive range, the Government will enter into negotiations solely with the SLA consistent with the provisions of the RSA.
