Full Description

The purpose of this project is to replace up to 1,240 feet of broken water pipeline at Marsh Creek State Park to provide water to the park's resident. Work will: oUse heavy equipment to excavate and remove 1,200 feet of the old 2-inch water supply pipe; oWithin the same footprint, install up to 1,200 feet of new 2-inch steel pipe; oUse up to 75 couplers to join the pipe lengths; oExcavate and remove up to 40 feet of an old ¾-inch pipe spur at the water trough; oWithin the same footprint, use up to 6 couplers to install a new 2-inch steel pipe spur; oBackfill trenches with excavated materials; and oDispose of any removed defunct pipe.
