Marty Stuart Congress of Country Music Phase II Exhibit Fabrication & Technology Package

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Marty Stuart Congress of Country Music, Inc. until 2:00 p.m. CST, Tuesday July 21, 2026, for the Project shown below. The location of receipt of bids will be the Neshoba County Board of Supervisors Board Room at 401 E. Beacon Street, Suite 201 Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350.   Plans and Specifications Entitled: Marty Stuart Congress of Country Music Phase II Exhibit Hall Additions and Renovations 308 Main Street Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350 Bid Package Include: 1)Exhibit Fabrication & Technology Package The Bid Package contract will be issued between the Owner and the successful Contractor. This package shall include all bonds and taxes as required by the contract documents and the State of Mississippi.      A MANDATORY Pre bid meeting will be held at the project site on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST.   Electronic contract documents may be obtained free of charge thru the Exhibit Coordinator or Construction Manager. Proposals shall be submitted only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the bid documents and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post Performance and Payment Bond in the form and amount of 100% within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Electronic Bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Bids on the Project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the Project and no bid withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the Project for a period of Sixty (60) days. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a Prime or Subcontractor to do any work must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985, by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors.
